Hello, I will be traveling to Memphis on the last dayo of the year (Dec. 27- Jan.2). I am traveling with my husband and 2 year old daughter. What is there to do? Places nearby will be great as well, as long as there at least 1 hour from there. Thanks! Other - United States - 2 Answers

Visit Graceland, The Pink Palace, Mud Island and the Zoo. Memphis has many great Bar-B-Que places also and Beale Street is great for the music

The National Civil Rights Museum f/k/a the Lorraine Motel, where Martin Luther King was shot, is a great historical site, and has a well-balanced presentation too.
