About when should I buy tickets for August

When should I buy tickets for August?
I am flying from Memphis to Baltimore in the beginning of August. Tickets on all of the travel sites are running about $215. I would like to pay under $200. If I wait until time is closer will I get a better deal?

No, they only get more expensive! Have you looked at SkyBus.com? AMAZING deals that far in advance. Check it out, the airports are limited though.
2 :
The price isn't likely to get much better, but you may find some benefit in working a package through a travel service and packaging hotel and or rental car with your flight. Frankly the risk of the flight going over $250-$300 is probably exceeds the $15 reward if you get fortunate to have the fare drop into your range. I'd book the ticket for $215 before it goes away. If your travel dates/times are flexible you may also want to try Priceline and see if they'll give you your price?! Best of luck and happy travels.
3 :
215 is not a lot of money. If you wait, you will defiately pay more. Grab it!
4 :
for $15, buy it now. You will feel really silly if it goes up to $300 while you are waiting for it to drop!
5 :
Sorry, buy your ticket NOW. August still high season for airlines.
6 :
Buy them NOW! If you wait, it is more likely that the prices will increase, since August is a season where most people go on holiday!

About where can I find the best deals on flights

Where can I find the best deals on flights?
Where can I search for flights by only specifying the departure city? I am itching to travel somewhere soon but i really don't care where or when! I just want to find a GOOD DEAL out of Nashville or Memphis between now and next summer and I'm tired of having to narrow it down to specific cities and exact dates. Please help!

This is what we did........ On a regular scheduled flight it is better to book far in advance because it tends to be cheaper. Now..a charter flight is different. If you can book 3 or 4 days before the flight leaves and if there are seats left they go for cheap, cheap, cheap. Where ever you get the cheap flight for then look for accommodation. We booked on a Tuesday and left on Saturday from Calgary to Cancun for $353 and then went on www.vrbo.com and found a great condo for $500 per week.(www.casa-schwartz.com). We took the bus from Cancun airport for $8 each to Playa del Carmen where the condo is. Total cost for 2 for 2 weeks, air and accommodation was $1722 and didn't have the bore of an all inclusive. We were very surprised how many people hotel and condo it and will never go All inclusive again cause we had way more fun. Anyways from Memphis there should be tons of flights out of there and you would have the world at your picking.

About how do I go about traveling

How do I go about traveling?
I need to know the best way to get to Memphis, TN. The best way as in the cheapest, shortest, most adequate or smart way. I'm leaving from Torreƃ³n Coahuila, Mexico. And I need to be there before August 4. What is best, bus or plane? Do I need to travel with an adult (I'm 15). Also, I'm staying there for a year. It is probably not a direct trip; so what would be the best schedule. When to leave? What company? Help, I'm really confused.

First thing you need to do is to make sure you have your paperwork in order. Depending upon your citizenship, you will need various documents. Best place to start are the US and/or Mexican government websites. Bus would be an arduous journey, but the plane would be more expensive. Continental and American are the two airlines that fly out of Torreon to the US, so start with their schedules if you want to fly. Their websites will also indicate the documentation that you will need in order to get on their planes.

About Does anyone have any travel tips for X-Country travel from Las Vegas to S.Carolina

Does anyone have any travel tips for X-Country travel from Las Vegas to S.Carolina?
Me and my best friend will be traveling cross country be car from Las Vegas, NV to Greenville, SC at the end of August. We were thinking that we would stop at two points of interest for some fun...perhaps Mesa Verde, AZ, and Graveland in Memphis, TN. Any other suggestions for points of interest? Routes?

I'm from s.c. I really don't know where to tell you to stop but I will tell you to pack light clothes b/c it sure is HOT down here in August

Personally, I wouldn't miss out on Chattanooga, TN. Go to Ruby Falls Caverns and Rock City. It's beautiful. They also have a tramway up the side of the mountain in the city. It's just a beautiful place to go. It's also close to Stone Mountain in GA, and the Land of Waterfalls in North Carolina's western hills.

Stop at Eureka Springs in NW Arkansas.

Depends on what you like. I am quite familiar with the drive. Here are a couple ideas...remember that you will be on US 40 for the majority of the drive. Try Flagstaff Arizona and Sedona (including the Grand Canyon)...you won't forget it for the rest of your life. Sedona is just 20 miles south of Flagstaff and is considered the most beautiful part of the Southwest. Memphis is a great idea...stick with it...and you might like Nashville too if you like Country music...it is very pretty there at night. Other thoughts: If you get a chance and don't mind getting off 40 again...try Taos New Mexico....outdoorsy...green....pretty...lots of outdoorsy things. Also it is 1 hour from Sante Fe which is my top two favorite places to visit in the US. (Sedona is first) In North Carolina ...(before you go south on 95) try Emerald Point for great Water Park Relief. It is right off of 40 and is a great way to spend the day in Greensboro, NC. Also....Asheville NC is beautiful. Try going to Biltmore Estate for food, wine...gorgeous place. Just google it. There are lots of things to do...;but these stand out in my mind.

Jadortha said it all. The only thing I would point out thought is that it is called Graceland not Graveland. Probably just a Freudian slip. No offense to the "King", but Graceland (or as you call it Graveland) is the tackiest place on the planet. PS-Dress light and take plenty of Baby Powder ( I used to live in NC), You'll need it.

About a great city for a Bachelorette Party

A great city for a Bachelorette Party?
From your experiences.... which of these cities has the most potential for a fun, accomodating, overall great experience? I live in Southern IL so this is the farthest we would like to travel... Chicago, Memphis, Nashville, St.Louis, Indianapolis.

There are a lot of things that each city has to offer. The important thing is who you are with and not where you are. Being with your friends is the most important thing. Everyone has a different opinion of what a "fun, accomodating and overall great experience" is. Just enjoy yourselves and be careful.

I am going to respectfully suggest you place this question in the cities listed in this travel section. Will no doubt get a better and more accurate response.
